Publishing & domains

Efficio can prepare content and recommend improvements, but you decide what visitors see. Here's how publishing and domains work.

Publishing your site

Your AI-prepared website stays private until you review it and publish the site from your dashboard. When you go live, its pages become visible to visitors and available to search engines and other discovery services.

You can keep editing after launch. Edits, suggested revisions, and drafts created from AI action reports remain separate from the live website until you explicitly publish them. Efficio never publishes those changes for you.

Your default web address

Every site gets a built-in web address on the Efficio platform so it works the moment you publish. No extra setup is required. This is a great way to launch quickly while you arrange your own domain.

Connecting a custom domain

To use your own domain (for example, your-business.com), add it in your site settings and follow the instructions to point your domain's DNS records at the platform. Once it's verified, your site serves from your domain automatically.

If your site is offline

While a site is unpublished or suspended, visitors see a not-found response instead of your content, and per-page publishing controls are hidden. Publish the site again from your dashboard to restore it.

For help reviewing or changing content before publication, see Managing your site.
